Each year during the month of September, we recognize those who experience mental illness and substance use disorders. During National Recovery Month, we recognize those in recovery from substance use disorders and encourage those who need help to seek out the treatment they need. Additionally, we work to make services and treatment more accessible for those who need it and increase awareness of these pressing issues. Together, we can work toward a world where all are given the tools to reach their own recovery. #mentalhealth #nationalrecoverymonth #recovery
